Subject: Bringing the Guild Closer Together

Hail Legionaires! I'm sorry but there has been a feeling building up in me for a while now and I must finally voice my opinion. It is the subject of having our guild become a much more united one. I am usually one of the people in the guild who is on most often, so I see it almost everyday. Be it someone who is having PK problems with another alliance member, or someone who is just looking for a hunting group. I don't see many people who are willing to go off and kill that PK or do whatever they may be able to help, or many groups that have room for one more in their group, but just dont feel like inviting the person. WE are a guild and WE should act like one. We need to do almost anything we can to help our fellow guild mates. I know we all have our faults, I too don't always help my guild mates in every way possible, but that is what we're going to have to work on. We need to learn how to do things as I guild. Take the raid we were suppost to have three days ago. Jasaza and I had set that up to bring the guild closer together.... sure what we were doing I could have easily done myself, but the point of it was to get the guild together and do it as a group and have fun. It was a GUILD RAID, meaning almost every single person should have planned on being there well in advance or as soon as they saw the MOTD, but this was not nearly so. At the time of the raid, there were twenty-nine people logged on in the guild that were a high enough level to participate in it. How many did show up? Seven in all, that's it! To those of you who did show up, I'm glad you were willing to show your spirit and I'd say we had a pretty good time right? We may not have accomplished what we set out to, but the guild became stronger that day for the simple reason that these seven members became even closer allies and friends. I am not going to pick out any names of anyone and I dont wish to have anyone point themselves out for reasons of starting a conflict. I will say, though, that I am personally disappointed in the other 22 members who decided not to come. What I'm getting down to here is that if a fellow guild mate needs your help, try to lend it to them! When we have raids in the future, plan on attending! I don't see enough unity among our members and it is starting to annoy me. I originally come from a guild on the Fironia Vie server named the . We were the tightest bound guild ever on the server; would help anyone at anytime. Because of this, we were the strongest guild on the server, no doubt. I would love to see that in our guild. We can easily challenge and or . We can become the next but much stronger. more or less collapsed in on itself because all the members were constantly arguing with each other, and I fear the same will happen to us if we don't change how we act. If you have taken the time to read this whole forum, I thank you and hope you now see from my perspective if you did not already. If we all work together, WE will be unstopable. I want you to remember this simple phrase:
"WE are a guild of friends, and WE should act like it"

Thank you for listening,
-Velus
