in the sky the birds had split. their were seven of them, they has split into two gropus of three, one of ehich headed towards the caravan and the other towards the "other" airborn animals. the seventh seemed to hover in thei air there was something about it whic could point to the fact maby it was the "boss". the birds were only 25 brack lengths now from each of their targets.
