Subject: Dusts off keyoard....I've missed you SB1 <3

Been missing my old buddies, some of whom have passed on and this is the best place I can think of to visit them. My son was 3 when I started writing fan fiction, and he turned 16 this past Winter! Time sure does fly. :) So many great conversations, so many great stories and soo many great friendships started here for me. I needed to touch base and reconnect with the old me.
I've found myself on many occasions while reading books over the years laughing (sometimes out loud) and thinking, Rox could have written this waaaay better, or OMG LoveRoy would have a field day with this one. MsGenevieve, Bonnie Bo and a hundred other of my favorite fanfic authors could do a better job than some of the books I' ve read. Oh, and I think we all have read "50 Shades of Michael Samuelle" in some form care of Katherine Gilbert 10 years before the books/ movie. ;)(I'd love to see the screen version of "Fire and Understanding")
I compare books to LFN, I compare angst and action and spy thrillers to LFN. I guess I always will. I've been going through the archives here and at The Split Personality (Ranma you are a saint and the keeper or all my Holy LFN Grails and I love you for that)and I often think about writing again. It was so much more than stories for me, it was therapy. I could cry, laugh, and express myself through my writing that I never could in real life. Maybe, one day. Until then, I'll visit my LFN friends in the archives and try and stop by more often.
