We now drive a 206 Peugeot, and in fact it was cheap, but we were lucky to have the year free assistance in the beginning, we had some electrical diffuculties, the whole dashboard had to be taken away, 5 days without car (lucky for the garage car), and some time after that we had a serious accident (my girl) in the tunnel of Zelzate (OVL) where the car hit with 90 KM/H the wall and not one airbag went out, lucky that the car didn't collapse directly, or they both were dead.

I'n my opiniun it's a good car, but it has much glitches (very much) I think.

So that makes it expensive in maintenance.

The reason the Megane is better (for me) is that it has a much SPORTY look, it's available in Diesel Tbo, and the prices are rather cheap (compared to the peugeot 307 cc now)
