Subject: i don't know what to do or believe

ok i like this guy named josh and im not sure if he likes me back. you see everyday in theatre he always hugs me and kisses my hand. same goes for after theatre. then in algebra, he'll talk to me and hug me and kiss my hand. im not rude so i hug back and we always talk to eachother. then onetime in theatre we were doing a skit and i wanted to be the daughter but he insisted on me being his wife. and in algebra he asked me to be his wife which is common in my school bc we all just play around. then one day my friend asked him if he liked me more than a friend he said no but shyly, then she asked why and he said well i don't want to like if she doesn't like me back bc i don't want to feel stupid. So does he like me or not? im so confuzed please help me
