Heyy Melissa. I think you should go for it. I mean how long has your friend liked him? If your friend is really your friend she might be mad at you for a while but how long could it last? think about it... If this guy wanted to go out with your friend what would she do? You should make yourself happy and just explain to your friend that you really really really like him and have liked him for soo long you couldnt help yourself. Friends come and go so why hold on to one that is holding you back. Maybe you could even hook your friend up with someone else so she wont feel bad about you and him
You could even have him talk to her and tell her how much he likes you and that it wouldnt work between him and her. There are many different options, so go crasy and dont worry too much about this little problem it could be much worse.
