Woah, cool those little jets, girlfriend! You just met the man and started seeing him very recently, right? Keep up that tension and he's out the door. I speak from years of harsh experience, having just learned recently myself that guys get spooked by any remote sense of obligation to adhere to a routine with one girl.
You sound like someone who's also been disappointed over and over, and you're having trouble with the whole dating thing. You just want an established relationship so you can relax and quit obsessing about if some dude's worth your time. (am I on track so far?)
Here are the facts as I perceive them:
1 - he's seeing you too (you're not doing this alone, so let's at least give him some credit for deciding to spend get-to-know-you time together. No one is 'making' him do this. As you well know, men are mules and no amount of force will help them want you more. Okay? so this is good.
2 - you are dating. You're not married or engaged or living together or even serious yet. In a man's mind, he's just investigating. At this point, to your new date, this is NOT a 'relationship', it's a chance to try on a new thing.
(just suppose a shirt you looked at in a mall, even when you had begun to think 'hmmmm, good colour, looks okay, I'll keep it in mind' ... suddenly JUMPS off the rack and lands on you, and if you take it off, it gets upset. FREAK!)

.. Do you want new guy here to regard you as a clingy shirt?

>I've started seeing this guy, we just spent our first
>weekend together. When he left, he wrote me a sweet
>little note but signed off "Take care". To me that
>sounds like he's not planning to ever see me or talk
>to me again...what exactly does "take care" mean if
>anything??
