Subject: My experiences

Was it fun: Most of the time.

Did I learn a lot: a whole lot.

Is the score satisfactory: No, I only have managed a meager score of 141.

I captured 3 cities, had a culture of 35, prosperity of 32 and KR of 14.

I lost prosperity because I ran out of beer (but didn't have time to improve). I lost culture because I ran out of linnen and Byblos was destroyed.

I could have improved my score, but I'll be heading for school in a couple of minutes, then I'm off to work, then I need sleep (I can get 6 hours at best) and then it's school again. By that time, the contest is over. Sorry.

If I started playing how I played the last game. I could have had a score of approx. 200, but I started very badly almost a month ago.

Especially the year 1550 was terrible, and I lost a few points there as well.

I could have done better, but have no time to improve this score.

Thanks for all the tips and hints, without them I wouldn't have survived the first year. I hoped that my knowledge of C3 was sufficient for getting started, but the level of micromanagement here is too much for me, I don't like it. All in all, a great experience and I hope my score won't make us lose.

Regards,

Joost
