Date Posted: 17:42:32 08/04/04 Wed I'm in the process of purchasing either a Palm T3 or a pocket pc and wanted to see from more expert palm users why they chose and like the palm product over a pocket pc. Some of the things I've read on different net searches where product comparisons/ratings were done are that the pocket pc is faster, has the advantage of both bluetooth and wifi making wireless functioning much easier, and will integrate better down the road with upcoming softwares that are obviously going to be windows based ...whereas the palm product is easier to use, does a cleaner job of syncing MS word and excel doc's, and syncs much quicker. I'll want to use the bluetooth function for easier syncing with my desktop or laptop depending on where I'm at, will (as a physical therapist) want to ultimately use it for inputing patient info into word and excel templates, and use wireless to obtain e-mails and do searches for research on patient conditions/treatments etc. One concern with the pocket pc is apparently dropping formatting/accuracy of syncing word/excel doc's and with the T3 is that without wifi that I'd have to be getting an adapter to go through my cell phone to do any wireless functioning for e-mails or net searches Thanks so much for your input.
