You installed the Sony version of the Palm Desktop that came with the device, correct? What version of the desktop software? Does your Hotsync ID match the ID of the Sony? Are the conduit settings correctly set?

When you say the sync has never worked, can you be more specific - what do you see on the Sony and on the desktop when you try and sync? Do you can error messages? What does the hotsync log say?
