I don't have a power light indicator when I put the palm into the cradle. When I changed the battery, I did and it started to boot. After I put the back on it went dead. There seemed to be one circuit that got really hot. I am not sure if that is normal. I am thinking about replacing the motherboard and getting another battery. But I am not sure if I should invest that much. I have already put 60 into repairing it. Now I don't know whether the new battery is dead or still has life. It would be another 25 for motherboard and 30 for another battery. I could buy recon unit for 89. The problem is that I only used this palm for a few months, so I feel ripped off. My kids went in and bought it for me at top dollar and to have it not work. When I contacted Palm, because it was supposed to be under warranty, they told me 90 days. When I kept pursuing the issue, I found out it was 1 year warranty but by that time it was out of warranty. Please help! Thank you.
