The biggest thing working against Hudson and Falls for a playoff bid isn't that they may not have a good enough record, but rather the reletive weakness of the WRC South as a whole. Even if Falls or Hudson or any SOuth Team were to win 8 games or more, in Region 2 which includes McK, Massilon, and all the D1 Federal schools as well as the Manfield, Marion and Toledo area schools like St. Johns and St. Francis--that's one helluva row to hoe. The only way to improve your status is to beef up your non-conference schedules to add points, but I don't think the Hudson program is ready for that. Coach Tom Narducci has the future of this progam in focus. I beleve Tom feels that it is in the best interests of the program to enjoy some success first, build the program, develop some tradition, all of which can be done by having some winnning seasons and competitive conference competition. Then after building an establishment, you beef up the schedule and make your playoff runs. Falls has the tradition and expereince to be a playoff team, but again thier strength of schedule in their region is going to require them to win nine games to get a spot. There are simply too many team from Stark County that can get in winning seven because they all play such a brutal schedule in the Federal League.

Hudson--you need a good foundation before you can build your house. Do your brick work the next couple years and the house will be in your future.

The DOGG is out--Rack Me!
