As a receiver on this team, I'm going to defend our core of receivers. It wasn't the fact that there were a lot of dropped balls, there were some, but not many, but what high school doesn't drop passes in games. Anyway, the fact that we didn't throw the ball very often made it hard for the QB's and WR's to get in a rythym of throwing in game situations. We often had to settle on throwing on 3rd and long situations, which are harder to complete when the db's know a pass is coming and have to throw farther automatically making it a tougher throw. However, I will also say that we did lack a lot of talent this year, but if you base it on the talent of every other year other than last year(the dynamic duo) we didn't do too bad. With the loss of Carducci and Knepp, Hudson will need to pass more next year to win, even though Justin is a great back, the passing game will have to open up the running game. Either Heffner of Morton can do a good job at QB, look for Novince to be the go to WR. Hudson will win the WRC next year.
