Hi Mike,

I do think we are getting to be pretty late in the season for seeing such large numbers of Sandhills. Interestingly I had a similar sized flock of near 70 cranes at Killdeer Plains WA at 3:30pm on Saturday. Quite possibly the same flock. They were also moving in a southerly direction and were reported at Big Island WA later in the afternoon.
