Subject: Ottawa WLR Saturday 10/11/03

Saturday evening around 6:00pm my husband Shane and I were out birding at Ottawa WLR. After a rather disappointing day for digiscoping birds we happened upon 4 trumpeter swans! Two of them were banded with green neck bands, the other two were not banded. We took several pictures and came home to report the banded birds on the internet. Does anyone know where the best/proper place to report them would be? We did find one site, USGS and put in a report. Are there any web sites where you can enter the band number and see where that bird has been sighted before?
