Subject: Irwin Prairie

Irwin Prairie had 17 species of warblers today. Best of the bunch was a beautiful male Golden-Winged Warbler. I still haven't seen a Yellow-rumped.

Vireos today included Red-eyed, White-eyed, Blue-headed, and 5 Philadelphias. I think I've seen at least one Philadelpia Vireo every day for the past 13 days.

A Ruby-crowned Kinglet was my first this fall as was the Blue-headed Vireo.

Nocturnal flight calls were very heavy Monday morning, less so this morning.

Rick
