Subject: Western Meadowlark

Hello All,
This morning from between 8:45 and 9:15 AM, the Whitehouse-area Western Meadowlark was singing from several locations; all South of Stiles Road and near the intersection with Providence. Stiles Road runs along the South side of the soccer fields which are just South of town. The bird was easily heard from the road, but getting good looks will probably require a scope. Although the road has been under construction recently, there was no equipment running this morning. Thanks to Matt Anderson for keeping tabs on this elusive bird!
