Subject: Stoney Ridge Dickcissels, bobolinks

Wood County, July 20

I happened to be at a friend's home yesterday afternoon, whose property includes the weedy field that Mike Sweeney referred to in a 6/28 post.

In that field, there were at least 3 pairs of Dickcissels, and 20+ Bobolinks. The dickcissels seemed paired up, but the bobolinks were flocked up, and the males retained their breeding plumage.

Access is apparently from the Stoney Ridge Community park, per Sweeney's post.
