Subject: Greenwood Park/Wildwood/Ottawa Park

Between Steve Mc. and I, we've been going to Greenwood Park, off of Lewis Ave. near the Michagan border. Follow the dirt trail contiguous with the small stream. There were very few people hiking through.

Today I put 3 new birds on my life list.
Denoted by*
*Blue Headed Vireo (1)
*Green Heron (1)
*Tennesee Warbler (1)
Yellow Rumped Warbler (50-ish?)
Palm Warbler (I counted ten)
Black and White Warbler (2)
Hermit Thrush (1)
BG gnatcatchers
RC kinglets
House Wren
Pair of Wood Ducks
Lousianna Water Thrush (found earlier in the week)
--------------------------------------------------------
Steve Mc and I were both at Ottawa Park (Toledo)
Bluewinged Warbler (1) (Steve)
RC kinglets
BG gnatcatchers
Wood Ducks
Hermit Thrush.
--------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday I got a very good view of a Broadwinged Hawk pearched about 20 feet away from the blue trail boardwalk at Wildwood.

Only BG gnatcatchers, RC Kinglets, and some Yellow Rumps present.

Wild flowers in Wildwood:
Spring Beauty
Bloodroot
Violets
Periwinkles
Mayapple (no flowers yet, but almost!)
Great White Trillium
The beginnings of full Jack in the Pulpits
Hepatica
Trout Lily
