Subject: Western Meadowlark

The Western meadowlark found April 30 at Blue Creek Metropark (Schadel Road just south of the town of Whitehouse) was singing vociferously the entire time I was present last night from about 7:30 to 7:45 behind the sportsmen's club adjacent to (just north of) the new Metropark area. Since this is private property, you'll need to stick to the road, but it was very easy to hear from there.
