Great report! I'd venture to guess that there have been scant few -- maybe no -- other occasions in recent years where so many warbler species have still been present so late in the month. This is two straight years with good migration during the latter half of May. That's been rare too for quite a few years. Maybe it's nothing more than a result of unusual weather. Who knows? It would be neat, on the other hand, to think that MAYBE populations of some of these birds are on the upswing.
