After the field trip, Jeff and I continued to bird around Sandusky Bay on our way to Clyde including a stop at the Castalia duck pond. We were able to add Red-head, Gadwall, Bufflehead, N. shoveler and Am. Wigeon to the list of ducks from the field trip (Chuck left off Red-breasted and Hooded mergansers and Black duck and of course Mallard for a total of 17 ducks in the area) as well as Trumpeter swan and N. harrier and 4 more Bald eagles.
