Subject: Farther Afield

Jeff and I did some of our normal don't-follow-the-crowd birding the last couple of days:

Findlay Reservoir: 2 Common Loons, 2 Horned Grebes, a handfull of ducks

Medusa Marsh, Bay View, Resthaven: All expected puddle ducks except blue-winged teal (which surprised me since I had seen 2 Thursday at Baldwin Woods west of Bowling Green) and wood duck (again a surprise since I had seen a field with 20 of them on Thursday in Wood County), 1 great egret

Flooded field along Rt. 269 just north of Bellevue: approximately 300 tundra swans (I stopped counting at 200)
