Subject: Eurasian wigeon

There was a close and cooperative Eurasian wigeon just east of the Magee marsh/Crane creek entrance today.

It was seen in the flooded field at Benton-Carroll road and State Route 2, cavorting with American wigeon.

Check the NW corner of the field (west side of Benton Carroll).

Also in this field were Ring-necked ducks, Redheads, Gadwall, Northern shoveler, Pintail, both teal, Wood ducks, and 4 Greater yellowlegs.
