Subject: from Sat Mar 29 - Wood County birds

FYI Late report, but last Sat, 5 hours of birding in Wood County, around BG then to spots along River, produced 63 species. The highlight was Eared Grebe (as reported earlier) - other highlights were about a dozen Fox Sparrows at Wintergarden Park in BG, and several other first-of-season sightings for me. A Mockingbird continues to 'hang in' at the county landfill entrance road, despite some pathetic habitat, that seems to deteriorate about every several months. List is below.
