Subject: Olive-sided Flycatcher

Wintergarden Park in Bowling Green continues to produce surprises. I spotted my first ever olive-sided flycatcher there on Friday, May 10th. I also saw a green heron there in the exact location I saw one (the same one???) 2 weeks ago.

Who knows what else was there this week because I could not tear myself away from yard to go check. With warblers such as blackburnian, yellow-throated and N. waterthrush right outside the window, not to mention a flock of cedar waxwings and singing orioles, scarlet tanagers and white-crowned sparrows, the park lost some of its attraction this past week.
