Subject: Garganey reported from Mallard Club marsh

This from Larry Rosche:




Larry Peavler and Bill Murphy (two very respected birders) reported a male
Garganey at Mallard Club on Sunday evening. It was in the second impoundment
and I wish I could tell you that it was still there, but I have no idea if it
was seen again today. This is the first sighting of this species ever in
Ohio.
