Thanks Chuck for the Hooded Warbler info.

This past weekend, I noticed there were at least five different areas at OO where Hoodeds were singing. The one at the lodge and the one on Jeffers, about a hundred yards from Reed, were the most accomodating.

The one on Jeffers is easily viewable from the road, and he sings a lot too.

Sager Road provided some enjoyable birding on Sunday (6/9). I walked Sager from the guardrail to Girdham and observed 40 species of birds although nothing rare or unusual. Maybe not a lot birds for the gurus, but it was good for me.

There were three Chats (two were viewable) and five Blue-winged Warblers, a pair of Green Herons, a pair of Black-billed Cuckoos, Willow and Alder flycatchers, Orchard Orioles, White-eyed Vireo.
