Subject: Snowy Owl

Dear Paulette Telenko------Thank you for waiting. Your letter is very important to us. At the moment, our first string birders are busy answering questions, out birding, out to lunch, or just out cold. Leaping from the third string bench, I will try to be helpful. First, the "yellowish feathers" bit muddies the water a little so lets just pretend we didnt see that. IF your owl is a LARGE owl with yellow eyes and the dominant color is white, it is most certainly a Snowy Owl,and you are indeed fortunate to see one. All best wishes, William Stewart
