Subject: Dunlin and other stuff

There were 2 dunlin along the Chaussee in Sandusky, OH on Monday 4/1/02.

A tour of the Findlay Reservoir, Killdeer Plains and Beavercreek Reservoir on Sunday produced a dozen loons and a half dozen horned grebes.

A trip to Whitefish Point, MI Thursday through Saturday turned up 5 great lifers for our son, Brad: common redpoll, hoary redpoll, pine grosbeak, Bohemian waxwing and golden eagle. Not a bad list for his first tirp to The Point.
