Subject: Northcoast Open

It is not too late to enter your team into the 2002 Northcoast Open. This is an all-day big day birding event.

This year's event will be Saturday, May 18.

Teams of 3 or 4 birders will scour a 5-county area (Lucas, Ottawa, Wood, Sandusky and Erie), and tally as many species of birds as they possibly can from midnight-9pm. Of course, you would not be required to start at midnight!

There are several divisions available for entry, in order to cater to different skill levels and age groups.
Teams in the Open Division will compete for the custody of the coveted Peregrine Cup.

The day concludes at Blackberry Corners, for a countdown and presentation of awards.
