Subject: Vermilion Flycatcher!

Today, Sunday 11/04/01, myself and Sharon Cummings from the Ottawa NWR Association observed a Vermilion Flycatcher in a restricted area of ONWR. Sharon is a professional nature photographer and was leading me through the refuge on a photo shoot. (prize for best of show from 2nd annual photo contest sponsored by ONWR and ONWR Association) We observed the immature male for about 20 minutes and should each have photo documentation of the sighting.

Also had a single Snow Bunting, Tundra Swans and loads of ducks among others.
