Subject: One more day for Vermilion flycatcher access granted

I just got word from refuge personnel that they WILL open the area for one last day. That day will be tomorrow, Thursday, November 8.

They will open the gate at 7:45am and close at 4:15pm.

No one really looked for the bird today, therefore it was not seen.

Certainly, the weather has not changed significantly, so my money is on the bird still being there. If you haven't seen this bird yet, you still have a chance!
