Subject: Snowy Owl, Maumee Bay S.P.

Observed the heavily barred Snowy Owl at MBSP yesterday (friday). It was on one of the buildings between the inland lake and the beach. Shot about a roll of film before the batteries died in the camera. When I returned it was perched atop the ampitheater. Other reports have been of this bird seen at lunch time. I struck out on several mornings on this bird and struck out friday morning as well. I returned at about 1pm and found the bird. Don't know if this is a pattern but for those looking it may be worth a lunch time check.
