Oh heavens, that article was not only completely insane, but completely illogical. It was typical liberal rhetoric against a man both lawfully elected, and well within his powers as President of the United States that happens to disagree with them on a matter of some importance. To be truly honest, this is not a blood for oil scheme. Iraq has, historically, been an aggressor nation in the region, and will continue to be so where it sees an advantage. The Iraqi scientists under Saddam's command are the Dr. Mengeles of our time. Iraq has continued to rattle its sabre at the United States, with full support and full blessing by such "wonderful" people as Osama bin Laden.
As for Corporate America, well, I'd like to see where such people as oppose it inside the US would be without it. Probably poor, and starving on a farm somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Corporate America owes nobody an apology, because, for all its faults, it has made us the richest, and generally most comfortable people in the world. We don't rail against regimes, we rail against ourselves...yet another liberal thought process. I can not believe that it would be possible to rid corporate America of scandal, simply because that is what Corporate America is, scandal.
Finally, it is quite interesting to note that this man lives in Missouri, the heartland of the United States. He appears to oppose everything that America stands for, and glorifies the unindustrialized nations. If America is so completely horrible, I do not understand why he lives here. He can affect no change. He is so far out on the fringe of even the liberal ideals that he can barely influence a single person. Simply put, Mr. Lewis, the fanatic who wrote this article, can move to Iraq, or Botswana. It appears that he would be happier there than in Missouri, or anywhere in the Industrialized World.
