Liberty Rogue,

You have elaborated a message here that has been bouncing around in my own head for some time now. It is the right thing to do and I had already decided to present it to my Libertarian Region meeting even before having read your article. I hope you don't mind if I print it and pass it out for consideration.

When I was 16-17 years old and philosophized with my mom about current events and freedom and liberty and such she would try to tell me how the world really works. She would caution me that I was only 17 and had a lot left to learn. I would retort, "I only hope that I never forget what I know now."

I thank you my young friend for reminding me.
