Seriously, why can't you understand that views on how a
government should be run and views on whether or not you
believe in God are two totally different things?

You might as well ask, knowing the Libertarian platform,
why would someone pay their taxes?

Just because you support the Libertarian platform does not
mean you must live your life based upon it. You don't have
to go out and watch pornography or go out and perform
sexual acts for money. But as a Libertarian you should support
someone else's right to do such things. Just as you should
support someone else's right to have their own religious
beliefs.

Am I any less a libertarian because I don't smoke pot or
that I believe in God?

Republicans might be asking themselves if it was true that
some Republicans are just rabid Libertarians with a hidden
small government agenda.
