The U.S.A. has 4% of the Earth's population - it generates 25% of the world's pollution. From space China has the Great Wall, Egypt has the Great Pyramid and the U.S. has Statton Island - the largest rubbish dump in the world. Way to go.
The U.S. continues to drown the rest of the world in its pollution purely to cater to the decadence of its populace. You, the voter, demand gas-guzzlers, allow natural parks to be drilled and turn a blind eye to slaughter that gets you more to waste. Why do we hate you? Go figure.
While big business continues to run the U.S. government environmentalism is ignored as costly. Hell, how much would you price the air you breath at? Think carefully about your answer as you may have to live up to it if the U.S. does not join EVERY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD in tackling pollution.
If not, well - then tell me that Sept. 11th wasn't an attempt, albeit inadvertant, to save the lives of the other 96% of the world. The U.S. is choking the world under its pollution - and now the world is turning.
Dubya's stance is pushing the U.S. further and further away from the rest of the world and, just as soon as his lapdog Blair is ousted, Uncle Sam is going to look awfully lonely.
Bottom line - if you want the rest of the world to like you then keep your hands to yourself and stop invading any 3rd world country that won't sell you oil cheap enough to cater to your own sick whims.
