There are a lot of very smart people who have applied what you have said and a lot of them have gone to jail for a very long time. I admire them, but I doubt I am so much smarter than them that following a course of refusing to pay my "voluntary" taxes would keep me from serving a very long time in jail. I'll let others fight the good fight that way and I will continue to pay and protest, and stay out of jail so that I can pay and protest another day.
