Average Joe, doesn't it concern you that the people from these "states" hate us so much that they will commit suicide just make that a point? If I have to choose between turning America into a police state where everyone is considered a suspected terrorist, citizens are required to explain their every action, we are searched at every public point, and everyone becomes an informer; vs learning why we are so hated by those living in the middle east, I would choose to learn why we are so hated and make amends for what we have done to cause those people to hate us.

But Bush and most Americans doesn't want to do that because in Bush case he knows why we are so hated. In the case of most Americans, they just don't care. Americans are hated because we lust after the oil of the middle east and Bush's father lied to Americans to get us to go to war to perserve our access to the oil that doesn't belong to us. These people did just wake up one day and decide to wage war upon us. These people are reacting to the simple fact that we started this war when we waged war on Iraq. George H W Bush lied to Americans and told them that war was necessary to defend freedom and liberty, yet when he completed his war, he returned Kuwait back to the same monarch that ruled the nation before Iraq invaded. Bush defended no freedoms and he restored no freedoms, Bush shed the blood of American military on the sands of the middle east to protect and defend his friends and family's oil interest in the middle east. Now his son wants to kill liberty in America by turning neighbor against neighhbor, friend against friend as he returns America to the days of the McCarthy err when one could destroy another American just by claiming they were communist. Sadly, there are Americans who just blindly follow along, nodding agreement to anything that Bush desires.
