Thanks for your thoughts on my article. I'll offer a few responses...
In the case of teenage killers, I can't help but believe that getting laid regularly *would* have a positive impact in most cases. Not primarily because of the sex itself, but because of the human intimacy. Just having another person there to break through some of the lonliness and alienation. Ideally a tender person to make slow, gentle love to the troubled teen, listen, soothe, and wake up next to him in the morning.
In the case of the older man who preys on children with the aim of having power over a helpless person, I think that the frequency of such abusive behavior could also be reduced by a positive sexual upbringing. While I haven't seen any studies, I'll bet that the typical adult child molester did not have a very wholesome sex life as a teen. If he had, how much differently might he have turned out? (I know you spoke of men and women, but I say "he" because the vast majority of sexual molestors are male).
Finally, speaking as a guy, I would have no hesitation taking a whore home to meet my family. Of course I am a whore* myself, so that may give me more appreciation for them. 8)
*We generally prefer the term "escort." Ideally I would prefer to be something more along the lines of a courtesan, but alas the job does not exist in our society.
