Lots of good points here, except I wonder about his recollection of history. Here I always thought it was mainly the democrats rather than the republicans that got this country into wars. Democrat Woodrow Wilson got us into World War I, Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt got us into World War II, Democrat John F. Kennedy as a result of the Cuban missile crisis almost got us into World War III, Democrat Lyndon B. Johnson got us into the Vietnam War, and Democrat Bill Clinton got us into the Kosovo War and the Somalia War. And these wars were fought for the corporate interests, though every one of these presidents claimed some higher moral reason.
