I'm letting go of all my lonely yesterdays
I've forgiven myself for the mistakes I've made

She had totally forgotten what it was like to have a toddler and although the energetic little boy was a handful, he gave her something to focus on and she was thriving with his adoring attention. Sitting upstairs in the living room on the floor, playing with blocks with Zaide, and attempting to keep the bouncy Tyra from ruining their buildings - she was in her element...

He let them both in quietly, a hand light on her back as he dipped his head to press a lingering kiss to her neck, voice a soft murmur. "Okay?" It was the first official meeting of his family that they were having, and he wasn't sure how confident she was about it - but his parents were so good, he wasn't at all worried..

He grinned as he walked in, looking down at his new son. "Keeping you busy?" The baby had just started walking, well, waddling - lately. He shook his head, grinning a little as he leaned down to kiss his wifes cheek. "What time the kids gonna be here?"

"Any minute now? Jordy said she'd try and come but would be late..." It was no surprise - their daughter loved her family, but had never been very family-orientated. She turned her face to catch his lips for a brief kiss before looking back to the child. "He's gonna be an architect."

He kissed her for a moment, before he looked up. "I think I hear someone downstairs..."

She glanced to the stairs, her fingers absently toying with the fabric of his pants around his ankles from where she still sat on the floor. "Maybe that's them.."

He looked over, Zaide immediatly grinning and reaching out for his brother - his favorite current person. "Hey guys..." He smiled, leaning down to assist Mika in gettingup, his arm going around her waist.

He gave her fingers a gentle squeeze before releasing them to scoop the little boy up in his arms, holding him upside down as he gave him a noisey, excited greeting.

She smiled softly, hugging her in return before she stepped back. "I've been good, how about you?"

"Good.. Busy, but good..." She smiled again as she shifted her gaze to watch Jake at Jaden's words. "Scary.."

She laughed lightly at the words, stepping closer to Jake. "He's good with kids..."

She shook her head but smiled - grandkids would be nice, one day, but hopefulyl not too soon.

She'd yet to meet Jordan, and that made her nervous all over again, but she did hug him tighter. "A friend of mine has a couple of kids, I told her she'd babysit for her." She'd forgotten to tell Jake yet though.

He cocked a brow and cleared his throat a little, glancing down at her, though his tone was teasing. "Do I look like a babysitting service?"

He nodded a bit. "Yeah, go do that son." he winked a little, putting Zaide down for his nap before he made his way to help Mika in the kitchen.

"Sick..." It was easy enough for him to pull off a lie - face straight as he kissed his little brother's cheek and not even glancing to Kesi. "She found the photo albums..."

"In the games room... There were some..." He honestly didn't know if there were or not, but he responded without hesitation - though at Kesi's laugh, he had to duck his head to blow a raspberry on Zaide's stomach to hide his smirk, definitely his father's son.

He definately knew what was going on, but he thought it was great. Now if Jake would just get married, and give Mika some grandkids, it would be nice for Zaide to have someone to play with.

Handing Zaide off to his papa, he moved back to stand behind Kesi's chair, grinning a little just absently.
