Subject: He sighed in frustration, hating that he always had to explain himself - his sister could get away with murder and his parents wouldn't even blink. "I've stayed out of trouble since I got back. I haven't smoked anything, stolen anything, beat anything.. I haven't been drinking much. I always check in with Donaldson on time... And the one time that a friend of mine gets into trouble and the cops screw up big time, I have to write a novel to explain myself?"
