Many of you will know this man’s production work which extends beyond the realm of his travels. No house DJ is without one of Spettro’s 30+ records in their collection, also under the monikers of Green Thumb, Ten Gallon Hats and Antoine Diego. Spettro has authored tracks for such labels as Tango, Aroma, Brique Rouge, Big Chief, Amenti, So Sound, Doubledown, Primal and other prominent names from around the world. His production has won endorsements by house music heavyweights such as Mark Farina, DJ Heather, Jay-J, Chris Lum, Phil Weeks, DJ Sneak, Mazi and a slew of house aficionados. Rocking 3 turntables like no other, such display of skill has become customary at Spettro’s shows. His mixing style is smooth, with dips and cuts along the way. Chunky and funky, deep and sexy, the tracks he plays and writes float, coast and carouse. His sets are composed of bumpin' beats, Balearic guitars, techy nonsense, occasional soulful vocals and everything else in between. Eddie ‘Spettro’ is a seasoned DJ having brought his unique San Antonio house sound to international destinations and U.S cities coast to coast. Simply put, when Spettro plays, his vibe and intense love for the music fuel the party. The second guest for this party will be Mark Collings. Mark was responsible for making Tag Records one of the leading underground house music shops in London. He also co-promoted the legendary ‘Records Of The Fortnight’ parties in a pub basement in Soho, with guests including Mr C, DJ Sneak and many more. Mark wowed Foot Therapy with his slick programming and exquisite musical taste a few years ago and it is a pleasure to welcome Mark for his debut at Gutterfunk. As per usual Foot Therapy will be on hand to serve you up a wholesome helping of house music before Spettro takes you on a 3 deck journey, no doubt incorporating some of his new unreleased productions.
