We are joined by Dave Congreve for a guest mix on the show.

Here is Dave�s Bio for you to get an update on his background up until now.

Dave Congreve

Having been inspired by trips to Detroit's legendary Music Institute and Chicago's Shelter, where he saw Richie Hawtin, Derrick May and Derrick Carter respectively, The Hacienda and also Nottingham's seminal club, Venus (ask yer dad!), played a big part in inspring Dave to start his own night at the venue and was one of the first clubs to book such inflluential DJs such as Derrick Carter and John Aquaviva.

Dave was subsequently offered the residency at 'Drop the Bomb' on Saturdays at Nottingham's Bomb night club which started in 1997. At The Bomb he reguarly played both before and after international DJs such as Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Craig Richards, Josh Wink, Tom Middleton, Derrick May, DJ Heather, Steve Bug and also Andrew Weatherall (who has been quoted as saying that Dave is one of his favourite DJs).

This had led to regular guest appearances at Fabric, London, (the most recent being with Francois K and Akufen); Darren Emerson's 'Underwater' night at The End in London; Space @ Bar Rhumba, London; Soulsonic; Boogie Juice in Hebden Bridge; Back to Basics in Leeds and internationally at the Wagg Club in Paris and Pin-Up in Ibiza. It was at Space that Danny Tenaglia approached Dave and said "You haven't noticed but I have been dancing in the corner for an hour and a half!....You play the badest grooves....Thankyou!"

Radio appearances have included a live guest mix on Lottie's Radio 1 show in April 2002, regular mixes on Groovetech and Pete Tong's revered Essential Mix which was broadcast live from The Bomb in October 2002 to great reviews.

Dave is currently going to be taking up a new residency at the latest club venture by James Baillie, Stealth, which opened in May 2004 where he has played along side Ivan Smagghe, Carl Craig and Luciano.There are forthcoming studio projects and plans for a record label My Mate Music to be launched late 2004.
