Foot Therapy Session

THIS SUNDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER 2003 AT 2PM (gmt)

With special guest

GIDEON JACKSON

Gideon first became interested in house music back in 1988. Influenced by his brother who had been playing on one of the infamous illegal acid house radio stations, Gideon started working on developing his style, a form of what we know so lovingly - tech house. After doing the circuit of playing at friends party's, beaches, festivals, he began to land gigs at Wiggle, The End, SW1, Optical, Fabric (London). Gideon has made and is still making a large contribution to the tech house scene, including Germany, Belgium, Greece, Croatia, Macedonia, Singapore, Sicily, Amsterdam, Paris, Turkey, Hungary, Prague, Malaysia, the list goes on.

During Gideon's rise as a DJ he also turned his attention towards creating his own production sound, developing something individual and special.

Gideons productions have been included on:

Immerse featured on Carl Cox's Fact II mix album,

Helpless featured on a CD ROM mixed by Tom Paris for Magic Garden.

Keep On featured in Terry Francis' Architecture mix album

Don't Hold Back & Mellifluous featured in Architecture 2

He has also produced exclusive productions for Tech House Phenomena 2 & 4 Mix Albums as well as Fabric Of London Mix series No.3. Since then Gideon has licensed Tracks to Loaded, Pagan, L.H.B, Swag, Wiggle, Pirate Radio, Eye 4 Sound and Visitor, All respected record labels. The man has also co-produced with some of the best of the underground scene, such as Eddie Richards and Terry Francis.

His music has been consistently well received. Several magazines including Muzik, Loop, Jockey Slut, DJ mag, Wax and Lotus (U.S.A) have written highly of his work.

Being a producer as well as a DJ gives Gideon a great insight to what works on the dance floor for this style of music. This will become apparent when you hear him play this weekend on the radio show. He has developed his own style, described as a tough warehouse feel, with a hypnotic soulful undertone that definitely affects your subconscious.
