He seems to be getting better. Give it a month, and see how he settles into it.

Just remembering the recent milestone episodes (I think the last one was when they reached 4000 eps) and the anniversary celebrations they've had. It seems that the idea of showing clips from old episodes is now a big taboo.

Burgo was removed from the show, left Seven execs red-faced, and now both WoF and Burgess deny that they ever had anything to do with each other. Tony Barber's era quickly became the skeleton in Wheel's closet. It'll probably be a while before they acknowledge Rob Elliott's era on the show since he was removed in a similar manner to Burgo.

While we're at it, Adriana resigned during a period of sick leave, and therefore never actually said goodbye, and the show seemed to refuse to acknowledge that she was ever there. I'm starting to think that there's never been a TV show in this country that's in greater denial of its past than Wheel of Fortune. As a life-long viewer, I find it such a shame
