Subject: Game Show Questions from 1984

I am currently researching into the game shows which were airing twenty years ago, in 1984. I'd be interested to know whether anyone can provide answers to the following questions:

- At what point in time did John Burgess take over the hosting roll from Ernie Sigley?

- Channel 10 had booming success with the introduction of "Perfect Match" early that year. I know that Channel 7 brought out "The Love Game" to try and compete (albeit in a slightly later timeslot). How long did this show last in total? Also - there was word that Channel 9 were planning to bring out their own dating game - called "Dream Date". Did this ever air?
