You are welcome to copy whatever you see on this forum on HKUF, with condition that the origin is mentioned.

In my opinion, HKUF can do something to attract more contribution instead of traditional marketing - cold call.

1. Brand creation: True stories of yourself and innovative site structure/contents are the real meat, which nobody can imitate. But it takes very long time.

2. Leadership - Either virtual or in actual life. Without leadership an internet community will become yet another all-in-one graffiti. Leadership is not only a forum moderator, story writer, or web administrator, but to attract members to the same direction, to explore the walks of life in the community (sinking boat, commercial sex industry, etc)

3. Organization identity: Logo, slogan, song are the essential elements. Just like the song and chicken head flag in the gcru.com. Does anybody think of a logo for sinking boat forum? A wooden boat in the sea being turned upside down is an exmaple.
